Holy Redeemer High School’s Royal Singers is a select group of students from Grades 9 through 12. These students are chosen to be members of the ensemble through auditions which take place in the fall.
Royal Singers are members of the Combined Chorus, a Mixed Chorus of over 130 voices which performs annually during the Advent and Christmas Season and at the annual Spring Concert. The Royal Singers also perform publicly at Christmas time and throughout the year at area nursing homes. They are often called upon for school, community and diocesan-related services as well as for entertainment in all seasons throughout the year. The newly named Diocesan school in the Luzerne County System is the result of four merged parochial schools and has been named Holy Redeemer High School, the Home of the Royals from which the ensemble derives its name. The Royal Singers are under the direction of Miss Ann Manganiello, Choral Director of Holy Redeemer H.S.
